Cuningham Group’s design for an addition to Hopkins High School includes a new multipurpose, 900-seat auditorium as well as a multipurpose food service and dining space.
The revamped food service operation meets the needs of the high school population and provides an attractive and useful gathering space and dining opportunity for the community. Lunchrooms look more like mall food courts and offer healthy options for students, and a new café provides healthy take-out meals for busy parents.
Additional work at the school includes deferred maintenance projects, health/safety/security improvements, and campus fieldwork. Infrastructure upgrades in and around the campus address the need for improved student safety at pick-up/drop-off sites and better traffic flow within student parking lots and bus corrals.
