For this one-half block downtown redevelopment effort Cuningham Group teamed with local architect, George Garcia & Associates, to design a complex mixed-use project.
The project will include 56 units of for-sale housing, retail and conference space, and a new 72-key boutique hotel. The new residential units will be the first loft-style units in the area. The buildings will be a mix of four, five and six stories, with a rooftop pool atop the new hotel.
The historical façades on Garden Street will be retained, restored and integrated into the elevations of the new structures. The trees around the perimeter of the project will be preserved to enhance the small town, pedestrian feel and help relate the building to the surrounding land.
