Cuningham Group’s design of the Wells Fargo Family Farm guides visitors in developing a sense of stewardship for the land, its ecological systems and its creatures. The exhibit models a typical Minnesota family farm as it developed through time and includes a farm house, dairy barn and silo, sheep and goat shed, swine barn, chicken house, granary, corn crib and grain bins, and planted fields. Interactive play-learning structures throughout the exhibit provide an opportunity to get close to the animals on site. In addition, design consideration was given to the unique ways family farms were innately environmentally conscious by recycling wastes and taking advantage of natural and renewable energy sources.
