Elements Steakhouse & Grille is one of three restaurants at the new 300,000-square-foot River Spirit Casino that opened in March 2009. Cuningham Group is responsible for designing all elements of the property, and the overall design takes its inspiration from Muscogee Tribe history and culture as well as its location on the Arkansas River.
The design of Elements draws specifically from the heritage of tribal ancestors and elders. A large fireplace creates a central focus and features a hearth adorned with basketry, art and photography. Accent niches along the restaurant’s back wall showcase bronze relief sculptures portraying early life and cultural traditions.
Private seating areas are separated from the main dining space by wood and metal screens that emulate historic wattle and daub construction. Plush high back booths create privacy and cozy dining spaces while more flexible seating is reserved for the open dining space.
