The desire for Mignon’s was to create a new Persian aesthetic in a space that was once a classic steakhouse. It was also necessary to work within the parameters of the existing bar, kitchen and column locations.
Cuningham Group designers expanded the existing straight bar to curve towards the new restaurant and create a better transition between the bright second floor lobby and the romantic semi-private atmosphere of the restaurant. Rich mahogany, cherry wood, and Persian-inspired artwork contribute to the cozy and sophisticated setting as do murano glass light fixtures and candlelight accents on the walls.
The plan also expanded into an existing exterior patio to allow for variation in dining experiences. A private dining room, couched between two wine walls, allows the space to become more private with sliding wood paneled doors.
