Visions Buffet is one of three dining options at the new 300,000-square-foot River Spirit Casino that opened in March 2009. Cuningham Group is responsible for designing all elements of the property, and the overall design takes its inspiration from Muscogee Tribe history and culture as well as its location on the Arkansas River.
Touted as the largest buffet in Oklahoma, the 400-seat Visions Buffet incorporates elements that are reminiscent of the sky and clouds and complements those with materials and colors symbolic of a harvest celebration on the river’s edge. Like blowing clouds, mist-blown glass chandeliers dance above the seating area while natural woods, slate stone, and river reeds and grasses suggest a feeling of being outdoors. The floor-to-ceiling windows of the buffet seating area offer an outside/inside interaction that is unique in casino design.
