Hunt Adkins, a downtown Minneapolis advertising agency, wanted its new office space to reflect a hip image, attitude and approach. By using uncommon finish materials like corrugated metal, designers were able to create a warehouse/retro style befitting of the client. Hunt Adkins also requested the reuse of as many building products as possible for the renovation, therefore, instead of creating new flooring, the existing 1920s’ wood and terrazzo floor was sanded, refinished and polished. Furniture was collected from several antique dealers for an eclectic blend of old and new.
