Judy Hoskens, Paul Hutton, and John Pfluger served as design resources for The Denver Design Charrette, an event that guided teams as they transformed a historic school in the heart of Denver into a 21st Century Hub of Innovation.
The Denver Design Charrette offers Design for Learning a unique opportunity to focus an entire design charrette on only one existing school. Morey Middle School currently houses grades 6-8, but in the Fall of 2017 will be adding a high school. The challenge of housing two schools within a single facility will present the district with unique opportunities. They had the job of working with the education team to develop and provide a program that helps them reach their goals for learning environments that support their instructional visions for personalized and competency-based learning, and will engage stakeholders who will play key roles in implementing and making these ideas actionable plans.
Thank you to our team members for providing an inspirational, thought providing, and exhilarating event for the participants!
