In high school, Kari-elin shadowed a local architecture firm through a mentorship program. Her final project was to design a sustainable house; she hasn’t looked back since then. A passion for sustainable design drives Kari-elin’s educational design work, where she leads the firm’s efforts on many significant educational facility projects throughout Colorado. Kari-elin sees her work as a “team sport” and enjoys working closely with clients and consultants to help plan their educational facilities. Kari-elin also volunteers with USGBC Colorado and serves as the Southwest Region President of the Association for Learning Environments.
“I’m most proud of the projects where we integrate great building performance, a strong design aesthetic, and a comfortable and healthy interior environment. These projects give a building a chance to become a valued and well-cared for over many decades.”
